Simple Definition of pivot according to Merriam-Webster dictionary
: a pin or shaft on which a mechanical part turns
: the action of turning around a point : the action of pivoting
: a person or thing that is central or important to someone or something else
Our political operatives have taken this term, pivot, and twisted it to mean that their candidate has changed or is about to change his/her position, sometimes 180 degrees, due to pressure by the party, contributors, or realizing that their original position wasn't very popular with the electorate.
I guess it sounds a lot better than saying "on second thought, I changed my mind".
What other terms are you growing tired of in this marathon media, town hall meeting, and Twitter campaign?

Looks like "Stamina" will become the most over used term of the fall as Trump's surrogates try to hint that Clinton's health is bad, and that only the Generalissimo has the strength to take on ISIS.
What a bunch of creeps.
