Limbaugh: “It’s Editorializing” And “They Don’t Take The Time To Explain What Trump Means”
RUSH LIMBAUGH:
"I meant to mention this earlier, CNN has started doing something that's new. They do instant fact check on Donald Trump. They may do it on Hillary, I haven't seen it. Here's what they do, I just saw it, they just ran a graphic, chyron graphic, one of those banners at the bottom of the screen, and here's what it says verbatim: "Trump says Obama founder of ISIS" then parenthesis, "he's not," end parenthesis."
"They don't take the time to explain what Trump means".
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Really? CNN is supposed to explain what Trump says? Does Limbaugh understand that fact checking has been going for a long time and probably his facts have been checked also at times. Where is it written that anyone let alone a news organization is required to "explain" what someone says? With Trump is doesn't matter any way because as soon as he's caught in a lie he backtracks by saying "that" isn't what I meant.

Well, let's add Journalism to the list of things that Rush doesn't understand.
Ass Flowergirl points out, it isn't CNN's job to take what Trump says and "explain" it in some way flattering to Mr. Trump. That is the job of demagogues on talk radio.
CNN's job is to simply present what the guy says, and to fact check to see if it's true.
And, they have done their job.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
