Honkala sounds like a real class act.
She probably perceives herself as a viable political activist.
Somebody should inform her that this sort of childish, vulgar activity will do more harm than good.

She is a member of the Green Party and ran as their VP candidate in 2012 . Kind of hard with her antics to take her seriously.

Compared to some of her past protests and actions, this "fart-in" is pretty mild for her. From my understanding, she did get permission for a march in downtown Philly this afternoon.
As an FYI, she was the VP candidate on the Green Party ticket in 2012 when Jill Stein was the presidential nominee.

Following along to some of the latest DNC news and it seems like there is a disconnect between Bernie and his supporters
Bernie just gave a speech imploring his supporters to support Clinton and his supporters shouted back, "Take it to the floor!"
I'm also hearing the Bernie supporters will also nominate their choice for Veep.
Seems like things could get dicey on the floor for the Dems this week.
Edit to Add: Here's the latest story on Sanders' speech and his supporters reaction to it.

Sanders was never about HIM, but instead it was about his message and his vision. He started a movement that won't die regardless of who gets elected. As you know, I felt the Bern myself, and I figure if his message and vision has a chance to move the nation forward then the best bet is to vote for Clinton and keep the pressure on her and her administration.
Secondly, the Congress and the Supreme Court are the real prizes. Once again, I figure there is a greater chance Bernie's vision will continue with fewer speed bumps if we don't elect a plutocratic, narcissistic authoritarian.

I just assumed his speech would be tonight and now have missed it. Darn it.

That wasn't Sanders' convention speech. His convention speech is tonight.

Bernie sent a text message to all of his delegates. He said that he was asking as a personal favor to him that no delegate participate in demonstrations against Secretary Clinton.
I under estimated Senator Sanders. Bernie is a class act.

He knows what is at stake. The alternative to Hillary is something I am sure Bernie wants to avoid at any cost.
