Only thing I can say is OMG! No wonder that the Obama foreign policy is in the trash can. Four years of Clinton and now Kerry. 
Kerry: Air conditioners as big a threat as ISIS
Secretary of State John Kerry said in Vienna on Friday that air conditioners and refrigerators are as big of a threat to life as the threat of terrorism posed by groups like the Islamic State.The Washington Examiner reported that Kerry was in Vienna to amend the 1987 Montreal Protocol that would phase out hydrofluorocarbons, or HFCs, from basic household and commercial appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, and inhalers.
“As we were working together on the challenge of [ISIS] and terrorism,” Kerry said. “It’s hard for some people to grasp it, but what we–you–are doing here right now is of equal importance because it has the ability to literally save life on the planet itself.”
“We hold these truths to be self-evident,” former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”

Sadly, typical of not understanding the problem and its consequences.
HFCs were developed as a replacement for chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) because they do not deplete the stratospheric ozone layer. We are now finding more about the dangerous long term implications of HFCs in the upper atmosphere. They are a longer lasting and per unit cause more heat retention on Earth than CO2 or other greenhouse gases. The new push is for replacements that have already been approved to replace these HFCs.
We can collectively stick our heads in the sand but future generations will pay the price.

Yeah, it's great fun to misrepresent and deride what Sec Kerry stated.
But, it ignores a significant problem.
