The resolution which resulted in the installation of the plaques in the rogues gallery (wall of shame?) is about the only instance where Wagner has shown any willingness to compromise. 

His proposal initially was for the portraits removal.

The compromise is better...the public, and more importantly, the legislators themselves, need to be reminded that not even lawmakers are above the law.
