One of them was President John F. Kennedy.Those connections come from his service as an educator, politician and community volunteer.He's an interesting guy to talk with, outspoken and provocative. In politics, for example, he says he's the last Democrat to be elected from the Dover area to Pennsylvania's Legislature.

Kennedy's visit to Harrisburg.No, he said, this wasn't his 1960 visit to the York Fair when JFK was a candidate.This was a stop in Harrisburg when JFK was a sitting president.Carl remembers Kennedy's enthusiastic engagement with the crowd and recalled a Secret Service agent saying, prophetically, that the president was going to get himself killed.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident,” former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”
