Re: The GOP’s Conspicuous Absence from Selma

Turns out Rep. John Lewis has quite a few GOP admirers

Members of both political parties descended upon Selma, Alabama earlier today. Partisan politics were shelved as members of Congress were unified in remembering the sacrifice of those who marched for freedom. So how did Republicans commemorate the day?Take a look:

Re: The GOP’s Conspicuous Absence from Selma

Coupled with the R-tribe trying to limit voter rights this snub will be just one more nail in their coffin. Somewhere along the line they have to learn that if they want to win National elections, they are going to have to honor ALL Americans and their rights.

This general Selma snub will be long noticed and pointed out (as it should).
