Ray Tomlinson, email inventor and selector of @ symbol, dies aged 74

It is amazing to think of all the technology that has occurred JUST in our lifetimes that has revolutionized just how we live, communicate, and get our information. This was one of the first evolutionary steps along the way and is a tribute to the man who just passed away- Mr Ray Tomlinson.

Tomlinson was probably as important in terms of life a life changing invention as Alexander Graham Bell, or Thomas Edison, or Bill Gates.

But one look at my cluttered inbox makes me want to curse at the guy too.

Cheers to you, Ray Tomlinson.
