The visuals are definitely striking and it doesn't give a good look for the Trump campaign. Plenty of ammunition (although there was plenty before this) for his opponents

If I had not seen this at the time it was taking place and seeing this photo for the first time now I would think they were all doing Sieg Heils of Adolf fame. Has the man no concept of past history?

Even besides the imagery, just asking your crowd to pledge that is a weird thing to do, in my opinion. I also think it's weird when debate moderators ask the candidates to pledge their support for the eventual winning candidate, or to not run as a third party. People can do whatever they want to do.
