Do endorsements mean anything? I don't really think so especially today but this is an interesting one.
Chris Christie Endorses Donald Trump
Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey endorsed Donald J. Trump on Friday, a major turn in a wild race and one that gives the New York businessman a major boost as he heads into the pivotal Super Tuesday contests.Mr. Christie was a candidate himself until he came in sixth place in New Hampshire’s primary. Seeing his political career facing an abrupt conclusion at the end of a second term as governor following his faded presidential campaign, he was said to be deeply angry with Senator Marco Rubio, according to three people with direct knowledge of his thinking.
He blames Mr. Rubio’s “super PAC” for halting his momentum in New Hampshire in December with a string of slash-and-burn ads.The endorsement came a day after Mr. Rubio, in a withering debate performance, turned his guns on Mr. Trump for the first time, and followed up this morning, calling Mr. Trump a “con artist.”Mr. Trump welcomed the endorsement with warm praise for the New Jersey governor.“He’s been my friend for many years, he’s been a spectacular governor,” said Mr. Trump, standing with Mr. Christie at a press conference in Fort Worth, Texas, for the endorsement.

Christie has developed a taste for the national stage.
This will most likely allow him to be on that stage in the summer and fall, and maybe beyond.
So what if he has to betray the best interests of his country.

Tessio was always smarter."

So I guess Trump just needs the Ted Nugent endorsement to fully close the circle of hell at this point.
Also, good Godfather reference Goose.

Revenge . . .
What a great and thoughtful reason to endorse someone for president of the United States.
I wonder what cabinet position Christie has his sights set on . . . maybe secretary of the federal DOT . . .
Or, at least head of the Federal Highway Administration.
I hear he has some experience in that field.

Trump just took all the air of of the room again.

"It was nice of Chris Christie to hold off his endorsement for a few hours,,,,,,,,
So it didn't overshadow David Dukes".

Andy Borowitz ............one of my favorites.
Anyway, I'm guessing Trump made a deal with Christie. Christie will probably have some kind of perk or job if Donald gets elected. Ambassador to Ireland or something.

More fitting as a bridge inspector or some other bridge position with the U. S. Dept. of Transportation.

I think he's hoping for the VP spot.

A Trump - Christie ticket would spell doom for the republican attempt to regain the White House.
Two mid Atlantic states bullies. One from NY and the other from NJ. Not a lot of diversity in that ticket.
