Re: Scott Wagner apparently injured

It takes two to tango as the old saying goes. My disappointment with the state legislators (mine are Stan Saylor and Scott Wagner) is that the rhetoric coming out of Wagner's office and his performance in committee meetings is negative, full of personal attacks, and obstructionist when it comes to the budget. Saylor is mute and seems to be disinterested.

What we need in government, and especially this budget impasse, is cooperation, collaboration, and compromise. None of those traits are evident in Mr. Wagner's talk or action regarding the passage of last year's budget, and it appears he has taken the same tack on the newly proposed budget. I wish he would concentrate on items in the budget that he has some agreement with rather than harping on his disagreements with the proposed budgets. I want to see him start with some positive action to move the process ahead, for the benefit of all Pennsylvanians.

Is that too much to ask from an elected public servant?
