Why Doesn't this Act Wear Thin?

Donald Trump muses about Marco Rubio's eligibility to run for president

Marco Rubio has joined Ted Cruz in Donald Trump’s crosshairs.

Fresh off his Saturday win in the South Carolina Republican primary, Trump said Sunday he didn’t know whether Rubio, a Florida senator who finished second, was eligible to run for president and that “the lawyers have to determine that.”

“I don’t know,” Trump told George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week.” “I really – I’ve never looked at it, George. I honestly have never looked at it. As somebody said, he’s not. And I retweeted it. I have 14 million people between Twitter and Facebook and Instagram and I retweet things, and we start dialogue and it’s very interesting.”

Trump knows this issue plays well among his base. I've read articles that speculate that Trump first thought he could make a run for President when he saw the overwhelming response to his challenge to Obama's citizenship.

He learned that there is a white, racist, blue collar, politically incorrect voting bloc he could seize.

I think you're going to see a lot of different United States of America over the next three, four, or eight years. - President Donald J. Trump

I believe you are correct, Lager. At this point Trump has become a serial birther. This is the third person to have the Donald question his eligibility to be president.

Obviously there is not an epidemic of ineligible people running for the highest office in the land.
On the contrary. Trump has found that he can appeal to a hyper-suspicious, bigoted  group of people by saying "Hey that guy isn't like us".

Sadly, what you all are saying seems to be true and it speaks not well of the citizens of the states in which Trump has won.  I'm waiting for the clown car to leave the South to see what other states' voters reveal to us.

Don't blame Trump, if people were really understanding that there is so little behind the mask, then the problem is with them and not him. It has been said before, that we truly do deserve many times the government we get for WE PUT THEM THERE !

I blame both Mussolini AND the people who elected him.

I'm afraid that your post has nothing to do with the topic of the thread.
If the serial birther thing is of no interest to you please do not post in this thread.
I mean, we are trying to explore this birther thing. Why Trump does it, why people don't laugh him off the stage for it etc. And, you respond by taunting people with a Nevada Poll?
It's childish and you need to knock it off.

BTW, are you seriously suggesting that my comments about Trump's latest birther scam have led to his leading in the Nevada poll?
Man, that's magical thinking.
