The only thing I was pointing out in the article was that people are complex.
I would throw celery all day at David Koch if we were having an argument over campaign finance reform.
But I'll pat him on the back for supporting marriage equality.

Common, I should clarify something here. It isn't specifically about the Koch Brothers per se. It is what they represent and the enormous amount of money that is injected into our democracy. The Kochs just happen to be leading the charge right now by pledging almost 900 million dollars to candidates they feel will do their bidding in congress. I recognize there are many others representing their ownprivate/special interests.
I subscibe to the opinions of Bernie Sanders when it comes to the dangers of our democratic form of government becoming a plutocratic oligarchy as the Supreme Court put that metamorphosis on the fast track.

That most business mogus do things and promote things that directly benefit their business interests does NOT necessarily mean that they do not or cannot support things that are not in direct alignment with their businesses.
Similarly there are people that are pretty liberal that have crafted schemes to totally benefit businesses.
There is not always a one size that fits all.

Harry Reid and the democratic machine have turned the K brothers into the Boogie man for the left! They are incarnate of the devil! just ask Reid! - Common Sense said
No, the Koch brothers did that themselves. Most people that really dislike them, did so way before anybody in Congress mentioned them.
