In responseto a mass shooting at an Oregon community college earlier this month, a number of influential leftists – including Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton – emerged with fiery rhetoric condemning the National Rifle Association.“What is wrong with us,”
Clinton askedat the time, “that we cannot stand up to the NRA and the gun lobby and the gun manufacturers they represent?”She went on to insist that the Republican Party puts “the NRA ahead of American families.”
Though such vitriolic flourishes might be aimed at damaging the reputation of the heavy-hitting lobbying group, recent polling indicates the result was precisely the opposite. The week following the Oregon shooting, Gallup conducted a survey indicating a decade-high percentage of Americans hold a favorable opinion of the NRA.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident,” former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”

I wonder how long this gungasm is going to last.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

There's nothing in the bill of rights that says your 'arms' need to be funtional.
If you make yourself miserable trying to make others happy that means everyone is miserable.
