If

If the Presidential election were held today, who would you vote for and why?

Re: If

I really don't know but here is how I think it would sort of play out for me if Hillary was the Dem nominee and running against a few select  GOP nominees

Hill vs. Trump = Hill
Hill vs. Cruz = Hill
Hill vs. Christie = Lean Hillary
Hill vs Rubio = Undecided
Hill vs. Jeb = Move to Canada
Hill vs. Kasich = Kasich

If Sanders were the Dem nominess, it would play out like this

Ben vs. Trump = Bern
Bern vs. Cruz = Bern
Bern vs. Christie = Christie
Bern vs Rubio = Rubio
Bern vs. Jeb = Jeb
Bern vs. Kasich = Kasich

Re: If

I will say right now that the only republican that I would even consider voting for is Kasich.
My first opportunity to vote, however, will be in the Massachusetts Democratic Primary. At this point I am undecided in that race.

Re: If

Personally, I am extremely disappointed in the roster of candidates the two major political parties have offered up for the office of president of the United States of America. The caliber and credentials of these people fall below the threshold of what is needed. The primary circus is out of control - way too long and costs too much money.

If I have to choose, I'd vote for Sanders for the same reasons Fred provided.

Assuming Hillary hasn't sewn up the required number of delegates by the time the primary reaches Pennsylvania, I would likely vote for her to be the Dem nominee.

If the GOP race is still up in the air at the time of the deadline to change parties, I would likely switch parties and vote for the most acceptable of the GOP candidates still in the race (Kasich, Rubio, and possibly Christie)
