the pope issued a caution that "the enemy of peace isn't only war, but also indifference," and he decried "barriers, suspicions, fears and closures" toward others.
Although the title and emphasis of this feast has changed in recent decades; it nevertheless continues to be observed as the Feast of the Circumcision by the Orthodox, conservative liturgical Protestants, and Tridentine Rite Catholics.
What the Pope has stated is a fine illustration of what it means to "circumcise the foreskins of your hearts".
