It has to be discouraging to anyone that really is a fiscal conservative to see this group, along with new speaker and financial wunderkind Paul Ryan, serve up favors to big banks and Wall Street through the amendment process to such things as a highway bill. These guys talk a big game, but their actions speak louder than words . . . even when those words are whispered behind closed doors, and actions are taken at midnight, after collusion with the same financial institutions, for the benefit of those institutions, and the detriment of the vast majority of Americans.

When are these shenanigans going to end?
