    I researched who was running.  Can't remember if I got the info from the League of Women Voter's website or followed a link on the website, but I found what I wanted to know about the candidates.  I ended up voting a split ticket.

    The Register of Wills was a hard-fought tight race in Lager's domain.  Looks like the Dem squeaked one out for this pivotal position.

    I can only recall one General Election in nearly four decades of voting when I did NOT vote a split ticket.

    And that exception was not yesterday.
