Trumped-out
You know, I'm "Trumped-out". I can't open a series of news stories on my computer without seeing at least one Trump story every freakin' day. I'm done. If the R-Tribe wants this guy to carry their flag into the 2016 election, I say, "Go for it, because evidently this is the best you got."
I'm done with it.
Thanks for allowing me to deliver a mini-rant on the subject of Donald Trump.

The GOP, and the media have created this monster. And, it is out of hand.
Trump will eventually self-destruct. And the media will gleefully cover that for ratings.
What I find interesting, and incredibly depressing, is that there exist a arge number of fearful, hateful, and ignorant people who could support such an odious creature. And these people will still be around when Trump is done.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

The Trump formula is a classic.
1. Confirm their fears. Tell a bunch of nervous white voters who have endured stagnant wages or downard economic mobility, and watched changing demographics transform the country that their fears are real.
"The American Dream is Dead"
2. Give them someone to blame (other than themselves). Chinese, Japanese, Mexicans.
3. Tell them that only you an save them.
"I will make America great again". It says so on the hat.

Gee, let's look back in time and see if we can find someone else in human history who may have used the same formula to gain power.
