OK, it was unfortunate that comments were made about the man's appearance.
As your trusty moderator perhaps I should have urged posters to stay on the high road.
I am familiar with Krauthammer's bio, and I was always impressed with his life story, especially to have such toughness and resolve in the face of his spinal cord injury.
However, I will stand by my own posts in this thread. I do NOT think much of Krauthammer's writing and commentary in recent years. He has pretty much become a formula writer who is very ideological, and utterly predictible. Kraut is not offering many original thoughts, or thinking outside what the tribe wants to hear, or what Fox wants to pay for.

I stand by my description of Krauthammer, especially the part about him that his political commentaries swing in the wind as a Faux News contributor and weathervane of the latest partisan political talking points of the Republican Party.
Regardless of his esteemed resume.

I dunno. One man's "gridlock" is another's protection against tyranny by the majority.
I hear ya and when you have a single party controlling the House, Senate and White House, I would share your concern.
But in a situation where you have divided government as we do now, I don't see the need for the filibuster to be used the way that it is.

Excuse us for noticing that he is ghoulish-looking. He has a extremely unusual, creepy look, not like the average person on the street. He is on the news where everyone can see him, not working under a car like a mechanic, or in a factory like a regular person. Appearances matter in that business. If he had acne, he would go to a dermatologist. If he had crooked, brown teeth, he would go to a dentist. I'm sure he dyes his hair to look better on camera. Looks matter in that business and I'm sure he turns a lot of people off.

Oh, lighten up Common! So I wasn't feeling like digging real deep that day. It happens. Some days you feel like digging in deep, and some days you feel like staying on the surface. It doesn't make me a villain. I don't know the man's personal history, which is why I didn't comment on that. So I think he's unfortunate looking and was cracking jokes, big deal. I seriously doubt that Mr. Krauthammer gives 2 flyin' Finklesteins about what I think of his looks. I wouldn't. He rocks his look all the time on Fox and seems just fine.

Charles is rather dour.
You have to admit that, Common.
No one would ever call him the Smiling Face of Conservatism.

The man is severely disabled and a wheel chair. On a respirator. But did this slow him down? Nope!
He graduated from Harvard medical school earning a MD degree. In 1985 won he the Pulitzer Prize. And because you don’t like his politics you make fun of his looks???
Really? And now try to make excuses why you did this? Just move on……
This is really foolish! Oh wait just a minute this is Common’s fault for bringing it up?
Shameful!

Let's please dial down the temperature, and the sarcasm.
On the New Exchange, we have decided to eschew the personal invective that is so destructive to internet discussion boards. Please stay on the topics, and the high road. Personal arguments between posters have no place here.
Krauthammer is rather dour. I stand by that comment.
Now, have we exhausted everyone's interest in the visual appearance of this Fox Commentator?

Oh now you are going to try and take the high road?
I am making the point that Mr. Krauthammer was made fun of
because you don’t like his politics ? Nothing more than that.
Let’s mock the guy because we don’t like what he is saying!
Now you want to play like you are an impartial party in the argument?
You are not and you know it! This is not a personal argument!
