If you haven't shopped around for a company that supplies your electricty you might be tossing money away.  I just received a new bill from PPL and after several days of and around 90° temperatures this current bill is less that $1.00 more than the previous month.  PPL's rate is $0.09496 vs the lower Direct Energy's rate of $.074900, fixed rate for 12 months.  PPL's rate changes every six months.  It really does pay to shop--papowerswitch.com or www.oca.state.pa.us.
