We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

And if you want to read about Edvard Munch himself you will learn about a really sad and tortured man whose life was full of tragedy and heartache.  He suffered extreme depression most of his life beginning with his childhood.

Aye, some believe that The Scream depicts his mother's fatal hemorrhage, or Munch's reaction to that trauma..
