Re: Off The Grid: The Ice Harvest

The 2016 Tobyhanna Millpond #1 Ice Harvest is now in the books. It was a very successful harvest with a good turnout of friends, neighbors, ice harvest aficionados, and many people from miles away who came out to see how ice was harvested 100 years ago. The weather was great and we put up 38 tons of excellent quality 10" thick ice.

Thank you to all who helped make this 23rd annual Ice Harvest a success. Everyone who helped with the harvest is welcome to come to the Ice House and take an ice cake or two for your picnic this summer.
Mark your calendar for the 2017 Ice Harvest on Saturday, January 28, 2017.
