There but for the Grace of God go I

There but for the grace of God go I

Anthony Bourdain does a show called Parts Unknown.
He goes around the world visiting places and seeing & eating interesting things (he is a chef).
But Anthony also talks about social issues. He went to Mexico City and talked about drug violence, and to South Africa to talk about post Apartheid life.

Anyway, Tony does an episode on Massachusetts.
In between Clam chowder and lobsters he talked about the opioid epidemic that is raging across the east coast.
Your sister, your kids, the nice boy down the block,,,,,dying.
Tony covered it with intelligence and compassion.
Check it out. This is one of the best pieces of TV I have seen in recent memory.
Changed my life, in fact.
I'm all in.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

I am always amazed just how fortunate we are to just having been born here in the USA vs many other areas on this big blue marble we call Earth.
