Blame Game. Round One

I was expecting The Crazy to come out in a Saturday morning Tweet.
I didn't have to wait that long.

Trump Blames Democrats as Major Push to Repeal Health Law Fails

WASHINGTON — House Republican leaders, facing a revolt among conservatives and moderates in their ranks, pulled legislation to repeal the Affordable Care Act from consideration on the House floor Friday afternoon in a spectacular defeat for President Trump on the first legislative showdown of his presidency.

House Speaker Paul D. Ryan conceded, “We’re going to be living with Obamacare for the foreseeable future.”
,,,,,,,,,
Mr. Trump, in a telephone interview moments after the bill was pulled, blamed Democrats and predicted that they would seek a deal within a year, he asserted, after “Obamacare explodes” because of high premiums.

Re: Blame Game. Round One

Blaming the Democrats for the defeat of Trumpcare -- now THAT is Rich !

They couldn't herd their own people into a cohesive group and want to point the finger.

They were too absorbed in the notion of "repeal" instead of fixing the issues of the existing program.

Just wait till the next set of issues on tax cuts, infrastructure spending, and "the Great Wall" come around. It will NOT be the smooth sailing that some were thinking. We have seen already the divide withing the GOP and it is NOT going away.

This governing thing IS hard !!

Re: Blame Game. Round One

While Trump is trying to shift the responsibility to the Democrats, it's his administration that will largely have to decide whether 20 million people who gained coverage under the sweeping 2010 health reform law will remain insured.

It's not at all clear that Obamacare is in a death spiral, but there's no question the program is troubled. Insurers have found themselves with sicker and costlier customers than they expected, forcing them to raise rates and exit certain markets.

But carriers say it's now largely in the hands of the Trump administration and Republican lawmakers as to whether they will participate next year. Over the past several months, insurers have urged officials to provide clarity on several key measures that they say will help shore up the exchanges.

Shifting blame just ain't gonna cut it, Don. You da man.
It's called Sitting in The Big Chair.
Sometimes it's parades. Sometimes it's being handed a sh*t sandwich and it being your job to fix things.

It's a lot tougher than it looks on TV, isn't it?

Re: Blame Game. Round One

"The message today that is sent is: Democrats own ObamaCare. It's a failing system - skyrocketing premiums and deductibles, and fewer choices.
But it's now squarely in the hands of Democrats. They own this."

Sean Spicer.

So, Sean, the Affordable Care Act, was passed without a single republican vote.
We know that the Democrats "own" the bill.

And the Republicans, who control the House by a sizable margin FAILED to repeal and replace it.
The message today is that the Republicans own that.

Re: Blame Game. Round One

Round one: Blame the Democrats.

Now we move on to round two:

Trump shifts blame to conservatives on health care bill failure
"Two days after pointing his finger at Democrats for the failure of the GOP health care proposal, President Trump shifted the blame to conservative Republicans and said he is open to working with Democrats on health care reform."
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-shifts-blame-conservatives-health-care-bill-failure/story?id=46382720

Now Trump is "open" to working with Democrats?
Sure, let's work with Donald J Trump.

Here's a guy you can surely trust,,,,,,,,,,,,,
